At Lutheran High School

The Foundation For Excellence at Lutheran High School
was founded in 1986 and exists to support Lutheran High School
by encouraging, soliciting, and managing long-term gifts,
and by making them available for scholarships and other needs.

GUIDING PRINCIPLES
To the glory of God, the members of the Board of Trustees will endeavor…
1. To accept each donor’s gift, whether large or small, with thankfulness both to the Lord and to the donor.
2. To discharge our responsibilities with the joy and care of faithful stewards.
3. To honor the wishes of each donor as closely as possible, while considering our duty to benefit the overall mission of Lutheran High School.
4. To maintain an on-going program of education regarding the various types of planned-giving techniques which are available to assist donors in their personal stewardship.
5. To encourage long-term gift-giving through special events and in other ways.
6. To be willing to work with other boards and committees on projects which can benefit from joint effort.
